Spy Optics and TransWorld held a celebratory barbecue on Wednesday, August 5, for the seven winners of Spy’s Bootcamp contest. Bootcampers were selected from the brand’s retailers across the U.S. and Ca

nada, as well as one consumer entry winner, and were put to the test all week long with surfing, moto riding and wakeboarding lessons. On the last day, Spy brought their crew up to TransWorld’s headquarters in Carlsbad, California, and held an award ceremony to congratulate them on a job well done. Since we moved into the new office in March, it seems like the steady flow of visitors continues to increase. Luckily, thanks to this handy staff blog and our amazing, paparazzi-like skills, you’ll be seeing a lot more of our visitors, too. Osiris held a Girls Ride Day in Mission Bay Tuesday, May 26, and Transworld Business got a chance to hang out on scene. The morning kicked off at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center with a wakeboarding demo from Osiris Girls Team Riders Melissa Marquardt and Shelby Kantar, and Wake Skate Team Member Stef Tor. After some tasty burritos from Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, the girls headed to Mission Beach’s Wave House, where we all had a chance to ride the wave machine.
